Sword and Swan Media House & The Unbroken Cord
The Unbroken Cord seeks to lead confessional Christians in doing theology in the twenty-first century. We endeavor to do so by recognizing three key points: 1) The Spirit of God grants the church unity and our strivings (however well-meaning) do not; 2) confessional Christianity necessitates creative curiosity in the task of doing theology; and 3) confessional Christians write and speak from a place of hope.
The apostle John writes, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear” (1 John 4:18a). Hope in the crucified and risen Christ empowers us to live without fear. This hope equips us to write and speak outside of a place of fear so we can pursue creativity and curiosity.
Along the way we have found that other confessional Christians are doing similar things. And so, we quickly recognized a natural partner in Sword and Swan Media House. This burgeoning media enterprise is committed to communicating our historic, creedal, Christ-centered faith in a clear and accessible manner. They lead the way in encouraging, creating, and promoting relevant written, audio, and media content for the benefit of the church and the world.
In a world with so many voices, collaboration is key. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that we are now the official blog of Sword and Swan Media House. We look forward to Sword and Swan authors contributing to blog posts, as well as Unbroken Cord authors contributing to Sword and Swan projects in the future.
